Overview

As a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC, Illinois) I work with my clients to help them use creativity to reach their identified goals.

I currently work at the University of Michigan, Michigan Medicine Rogel Cancer Center, and have taught graduate students in the Masters of Art Therapy program at the University of Queensland. I received my BA in Fine Art and Graduate Diploma in Education in Australia, and earned my Masters in Art Therapy from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

I have taught all levels, including in university, community college, and high school settings. In my own art work I enjoy painting layered canvases of color and texture, and enjoy the surprises this intuitive process can bring.

I strive to help my students, clients and art-making workshop participants develop their art skills, and ignite their creativity and imagination.
